lmost everyone that I know is utilising one form of social media or the other. But not everyone seems to be aware of the implications of their online activity. You may have heard of some people who lost jobs because of unbecoming behavour in their Facebook profiles.
What you post on your social network profile or forum contributes to your online reputation. So particular attention must be paid attention to every picture or comment you make.
I made a post to my work blog on the issue of controlling (well, trying to) what the internet says about you. Is it really a basic introduction to Online Reputation Management and targetted at professionals but could still be useful to almost anyone.
